Karin Bustamante, E-RYT 500
You can find Karin in Denver and Littleton Colorado practicing and teaching Yoga as a lifestyle to the general public.
For me, Yoga is more than physical exercises; it's a way to strengthen and stretch the body while exploring the mind and spirit. Discover for yourself how Yoga can dramatically change your experience of life and physical well being. I provide ongoing personalized hatha yoga classes, iRest® yoga nidra and individualized instruction. I help you find a way to reduce stress, increase strength and improve flexibility of body and mind.
I have integrated the teaches of iRest into ongoing personalized hatha yoga classes. I create a warm, welcoming atmosphere of empowerment and provide students the space to explore attention and awareness via the body. I teach a leisurely paced yoga class with a focus on introspection and self discovery. Most classes include a centering meditation, breath work, postures and relaxation. I enjoy exploring a wide range of yogic topics that include yoga philosophy, meditation, iRest yoga nidra, exploration of cakras or in-depth posture study and chanting. It is likely that one or more of these aspects will show up in class. In addition to regularly scheduled ongoing hatha yoga classes, I offer workshops, advanced study classes, yoga teacher training and I am available for private consultation. I have volunteered as President for Yoga Teachers of Colorado (YTOC).
As an experienced registered yoga teacher, E-RYT 500, registered with Yoga Alliance, I'm constantly deepening my skills. I completed over 1000 hours of Hatha Yoga training taught by Hansa Knox at the PranaYoga and Ayurveda Mandala in Denver, Colorado. I hold the designation of Certified iRest® Teacher from the Integrative Restoration Institute, a specific approach to yoga nidra as taught be Richard Miller, PhD. Yoga nidra is a powerful healing path of self inquiry that assists in meeting, greeting and welcoming your whole SELF! I have studied Sanskrit (language of Yoga) at Naropa University and am currently pursing a Masters in Contemplative Psychotherapy.
If your looking to grow your yoga practice or establish a strong foundation, I can help. Call ahead 720-291-9035 or email info@karinyoga.com to inquire about class space or to schedule an appointment.
